In the Advanced Studies Program at The Yoga Room we start the second-year training with "Foundations of Asana". In this course, we begin to train our "teaching eyes" to see certain universal aspects of alignment which pertain to all poses. This understanding provides a basic framework for the courses to follow, out of which we develop the sophisticated techniques involved in seeing and understanding bodies.
